Motivation is a tricky thing. When something is a big deal, it’s easy to motivate yourself to it. Take, for instance, your wedding. That’s a pretty big deal. But, if you wake up one day and decide you need to go to the gym, lose weight, stop eating junk food, or whatever it is you’re going to do, that’s a lot harder. There are a couple of things you can do. The first one is to make little goals. Make little steps towards the big goal.
For example,
instead of saying, “I will go to the gym,”
say, “I will go to the gym tomorrow.”
Then, the next day, “I’m going to the gym tomorrow.”
Then, the day after that, “I’m going to the gym today.”
Before you know it, you’ll be going to the gym every day. That’s motivation.
